Terms & Conditions

Last updated: March 2026

Please read these terms carefully before booking any expedition with Reefs & Rivers. By proceeding with a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions below.

1. Booking & Payment

A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. Dates and trip slots will be confirmed and blocked once the deposit is received. The remaining 50% balance, plus any miscellaneous costs, must be paid in full no later than 90 days prior to the scheduled departure date.

In the event that full payment is not received by the due date, you may contact our team during office hours for assistance with outstanding balances. Failure to comply may result in the automatic cancellation of your reservation and forfeiture of all payments made.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

There will be no refund of any fees paid in any case of cancellation. This policy applies strictly to all deposits and payments in any situation, including cancellation by the traveller or no-show.

Reefs & Rivers strongly recommends that all travellers obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, loss of deposit, baggage, personal accident, injury, illness, emergency medical evacuation, and repatriation.

3. Travel Insurance

Arrangement of travel insurance coverage is strongly recommended for all participants. Insurance should cover, at minimum: trip cancellation, loss of deposit, baggage, personal accident, injury, illness, emergency medical evacuation, and repatriation.

Travellers who arrange their own travel insurance must provide the company with proof of coverage at least one week before the scheduled departure date. Coverage must be valid for the entire duration of the trip.
